Olympus corporation introduced a new camera— OLYMPUS PEN E-PL1 Micro Four Thirds camera.
This is third Micro Four Thirds camera products after Olympus E-P1 and E-P2. This PEN E-PL1 marks “thin as card, use as DSLR” concept to the market. E-PL1 is a good ideal camera choice to those non-professional photographer and the average family .
OLYMPUS PEN E-PL1 as the popularization of products,it changed the retro style before. It uses stylish design and simple function. It presents the spirit of PEN from a new angle, so that everyone can easily experience photography enjoyment of Micro Four Thirds camera .
Comparison with previous two products, E-PL1 biggest change is the addition of built-in flash.
It has this three kinds of colors available.
Retains the 1,230million megapixel High-Speed Live MOS sensor, TruePic V image processing engine, i-Auto Intelligent Auto priority mode, i-ENHANCE creative tools, 720p high-definition video camera function. In addition, Olympus has also acceded to a series of adjustments:
1. The newly designed user interface;
2. Newly high-definition video button;
3. Artistic filters feature provides （ nostalgia effect commonly used in fashion photography ）;
4. Increase underwater mode in Scene mode (can be achieved underwater camera if conjunction with the waterproof cover .)
